Schill Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 Team

Complete NCAA Division III CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC guard Riley Schill (Sheffield Village/Elyria Catholic) has been named to the 2019-20 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 7 team for the first time in her career.

Along with the rest of the Academic All-District honorees, Schill will now move on to the Academic All-America Ballot, which will be announced on Wednesday, March 11.

A biology major, Schill boasts an impressive 3.97 grade point average and is a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar, as well as a member of BW Honors Prorgram, Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society, and Alpha Lambda Delta honoraries.

This season, Schill currently leads BW with averages of 11.8 points, 2.9 assists, 1.8 steals, and 4.1 made field goals per game, as well as in both field goal percentage (51.6 percent) and three point percentage (40 percent). Her steals average puts her tied for fourth place in the OAC, while her assists average is good enough for sixth amongst OAC players.

For her career, Schill is a two time All-OAC and Academic All-OAC performer. Furthermore, her 306 career assists and 149 career steals place her eighth and 10th on the women's basketball team's all-time leaderboards, respectively.

A pivotal leader of this year's group, Schill has also helped guide the Yellow Jackets to an imposing 22-2 overall record and 16-1 record in conference play. Her stellar performance thus far has also contributed to a 2019-20 OAC regular season title, and a current 12th-place D3Hoops.com national ranking amongst NCAA Division III's women's basketball programs.

BW returns to the court on Saturday, February 22 when it travels to Westerville for its regular season finale against Otterbein University in the Rike Center at 3:00 p.m.
