BW Swimmers and Divers Lose to ONU

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's swimming and diving team lost in a  dual meet competition today to Ohio Athletic Conference rival Ohio Northern University on Seniors' & Parents' Day in the BW Natatorium in the Lou Higgins Center.  This was the final home meet of the season for the Yellow Jackets.

The BW men lost to the Polar Bear men, 182-49, to fall to 3-6 overall and 0-3 in the OAC.

Leading the way for the Yellow Jacket men were sophomore Justin Allison (Napoleon) and freshman Jacob Burk (Bowling Green). Allison won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.56. Burk won the 1000-yard free in 10:25.04 and was second in the 500 free in 5:03.84.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Jan. 25 when they travel to University Heights to compete against OAC and Cleveland cross-town rival John Carroll University at 1:00 p.m.

BW also is the host school for the 2013-2014 OAC Championship Meet from February 13-15 at the University of Akron's Ocasek Natatorium.
