ACADEMIC MAJOR: Accounting
BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Jacob Burk competed in his first season of swimming and diving at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He earned his first varsity letter.
ACADEMIC HONORS: Jacob is a Dean's List student and a member of the Alpha Lambda Honor Society.
ATHLETIC HONORS: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Jacob earned the OAC Men's Swimmer of the Week honors on November 4, 2013 for his efforts in meets versus Wooster and Hiram. He earned his second OAC Men's Swimmer of the Week award on February 3, 2014 for his efforts at Defiance and at Case.
GENERAL SWIMMING INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Jacob competed in his first year of swimming and earned his first versity letter. Jacob posted a team best in the 500 freestyle (4:50.46), the 1000 freestyle (10:17.39), and the 1650 freestyle (16:25.81) as a freshman. Burk also recorded a team best in the 400-IM with a time of 4:19.23. Jacob earned the OAC Swimmer of the Week honors on November 4, 2013 for his efforts in meets versus Wooster and Hiram. He earned his second OAC Men's Swimmer of the Week award on February 3, 2014 for his efforts at Defiance and at Case.
OTHER GROUPS: Jacob is a member of the Marching Band.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Jacob Burk grew up in Bowling Green, Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green High School. He competed in swimming for four years and earned four varsity letters. He also served as a co-captain as a senior.
