Swimming & Diving Teams Compete at Calvin College

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN
-- The Baldwin-Wallace College men swimming and diving teams competed on day one (Thursday, December 1) of the Calvin College Winter Invitational at the Venema Aquatic Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

For the men, in the 800-yard freestyle relay a team consisted of juniors Chris Tuttle (North Royalton) and Matt Zych (Des Plaines, Ill./ Maine West) and sophomores Patrick Donohoe (Columbus/Bishop Watterson) and Ryan Stover (Napolean) finished in a time of 7:36.58 which placed them 14th. In the 1650-yard frestyle junior Nathan Brown (Columbia Station/ Olmsted Falls) placed 17th as he finished in a time of 19:00.

Day two prelims begin at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow with finals slated to start to 6 p.m. The meet wraps up on Saturday with start times once again at 10:00 a.m. and finals beginning at 6:00 p.m.
