Chris Tuttle Named OAC Athlete of the Week

BEREA, OHIO --  One Baldwin Wallace College winter student-athletes, junior swimmer Chris Tuttle (North Royalton), has been named as Ohio Athletic Conference Athlete-of-the-Week today (Monday, January 23, 2012).  This is is the first time that Tuttle has earned the award.

Tuttle is competing in his first season of swimming at B-W.  He also earned his honor for his efforts in meets last weekend.  Against Hiram, Tuttle individually won the 100-meter freestyle in 58.49 seconds and the 200-free in 2:06.48, and he swam on the winning 200-meter medley relay team.  Versus ONU, Tuttle won the 500-yard freestyle in 5:04.22 and swam on the victorious 400-yard free relay team.

Tuttle and his teammates end the regular season this weekend when they travel to University Circle to compete at Case Western Reserve University on Friday, January 27 at 6:00 p.m. and then to University Heights on Saturday, January 28 to swim at OAC and Cleveland cross-town rival John Carroll University at 1:00 p.m.
