Swimming & Diving Teams Lose to Washington & Jefferson (Pa.)

BEREA, OHIO --
The Baldwin-Wallace College men's swimming and diving teams lost in dual meet competition today (Saturday, November 12, 2011) to visiting Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) College in the B-W Natatorium inside the Lou Higgins Center.

The Presidents' men defeated the Yellow Jacket men, 138-100. Despite the loss, the Yellow Jacket men are now 2-2 overall (2-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference).

The Yellow Jacket men were led by sophomore Patrick Donohoe (Columbus/ Bishop Watterson) who won the 200-yard Indivdual medley in a time of 2:06.14. Also winning for the Yellow Jacket men were senior Nic Null (Shelby/ Mansfield St. Peter's), who won the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 50.08 seconds, and freshman Bryan Gerber (Sagamore Hills/ Macedonia Nordonia), who won the 100 breaststroke in 1:04.46.

The Yellow Jacket men and women return to action on Friday, Nov. 18 when they travel to nearby Oberlin to face Oberlin College at 6:30 p.m. Next Saturday, Nov. 19, B-W is at OAC-rival the University of Mount Union for a 4:00 p.m. dual meet.
