Freestyler Null Named OAC Swimmer-of-the-Week

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College senior freestyler Nic Null (Shelby/ Mansfield St. Peters) has been named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Male Swimmer-of-the-Week for his performance in the Yellow Jackets season-opening 138-87 win against Wilmington College on Saturday, October 29, 2011.  This is the first time in his career that he has earned the weekly honor.

Null won the 50 yard freestyle in a time of 22.66, the 100 yard freestyle in 50.58 and was a member of the 200 yard medley relay team along with sophomores Ryan Stover (Napoleon), Patrick Donohoe (Columbus/ Bishop Watterson) and junior Chris Tuttle (North Royalton) in a time of 1:45.31.

B-W is back in action on Saturday, November 5 when it travels to Erie, Pennsylvania to take on the Lions of Penn State-Behrend in a non-conference dual meet at 1:00 p.m. The next home meet is on Saturday, November 12 when the team will host Washington and Jefferson (Pa.) University in a non-conference dual meet in the B-W Natatorium at 4:00 p.m.
