Swimming & Diving Teams Compete at OAC Championships

AKRON, OHIO --
The Baldwin-Wallace College men's swimming and diving teams competed today (Thursday, February 16, 2012) on day one of the Ohio Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships at the Ocasek Natatorium on the campus of the University of Akron.   The championships are being hosted by Ohio Northern University.

The men's team was lead by senior Nic Null (Shelby/Mansfield St. Peter's) who finished third overall in the 50-yard freestyle, in a time of 21.30. Also, for the men junior Chris Tuttle (North Royalton) finished sixth overall in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 4:53.80.

The men's team is currently in fifth place with 44 points.

Day two prelims begin on Friday, February 17  at 11:00 a.m. on with the finals slated to start to 6:00 p.m. The meet wraps up on Saturday with start times once again at 11:00 a.m. and finals beginning at 6:00 p.m.
