ERIE PENNYLVANIA -- The Baldwin-Wallace College men's swimming and diving teams competed against Penn State-Berend today (Saturday, November 5, 2011). The men were defeated, 119-96.

Individually, the Yellow Jacket men were led by sophomore Patrick Donohoe (Columbus/ Bishop Watterson) as he won both the 200 yard Individual Medley and the 200 yard butterfly in times of 2:04.44 and 2:04. 83, respectively. Senior Nic Null (Shelby/ Mansfield St. Peters) won the 50 yard freestyle in a time of 22.87. Freshman Bryan Gerber (Sagamore Hills/Nordonia) won the 200 yard breaststroke in a time of 2:27.31.

The team of senior Zachary Pfeil (Sandusky/Perkins), juniors Matthew Zych (Des Plaines, Ill./Maine West),Tony Tijerina (Defiance/ Napoleon) and Chris Tuttle (North Royalton) won the 400 yard freestyle relay in a time of 3:39.56.

The Yellow Jackets next compete on Friday, November 11 when they travel to Defiance for an Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet at 6:00 p.m. The next home meet is on Saturday, Nov. 12 when B-W hosts Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) College in the B-W Natatorium at 1:00 p.m.
