SPORTS PLAYED AT B-W (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a junior in 2011-12, Matthew competed in his third season of swimming and earned his third varsity letter.
GENERAL SWIMMING AND DIVING INFORMATION: Matthew is off to a solid swimming career thus far. Matthew's personal bests throughout his first three seasons are: a time of 23.18 in the 50-meter freestyle, a 50.25 in the 100-meter freestyle, a 1:51.06 in the 200-meter freestyle, a 5:13.09 in the 500-meter freestyle, a 11:17.30 in the 1000-meter freestyle, a 26.78 in the 50-meter fly, a 59.92 in the 100-meter fly, and a 2:26.16 in the 200-meter fly
As a freshman in 2009-20010, Matthew competed in his first year of swimming. His best times came in the 50 free (24.19), the 100 free (50.93), the 200 free (1:52.02), 500 free (5:13.09), 1000 free (11:17.30), 100 fly (1:02.86) and 200 fly (2:26.16).
As a sophomore, Matthew completed his second season with personal bests in 50 free (23.18), 100 free (50.25), 200 free (1:51.06), 50 fly (28.10), and 100 fly (1:00.41).
As a junior, Matthew completed his third season with personal bests in 50 fly (26.78) and 100 fly (59.92)
