BALDWIN WALLACE INFORMATION:

SPORTS PLAYED AT B-W (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a senior in 2011-2012, Nic competed in his fourth season of swimming. He has earned three varsity letters.

GENERAL SWIMMING AND DIVING INFORMATION: Nic has had a solid simming career during his four years as a Yellow Jacket. Nic's personal bests throughout his four seasons are: a time of 21.30 in the 50-meter freestyle, a 47.01 in the 100-meter freestyle, a 1:27.26 in the 200-meter freestyle, a 59.69 in the 100-meter breaststroke , and a time of 2:28.98 in the 200-meter breaststroke

As a freshman in 2008-2009, Nic competed in his first season of swimming and earned his first varsity letter. He earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors by participating on the second place 200-yard freestyle relay which posted a time of 1:27.26 and the first place 200-yard medley relay which posted a time of 1:36.51.

As a sophomore in 2009-2010, Nic earned second varsity letter and was All-OAC as a member of two relay events. Nic was also a member of the school-record breaking 200-yard medley relay team (1:36.51) that placed first at conference championship meet and the second-place 200 yard free relay team (1:27.26). Nic posted team-bests in the 50 free (21.70), 100 free (47.92) and 200 free (1:47.38).

As a junior in 2010-2011, Nic competed in his third season of swimming and earned his third letter. He had team bests in the 50 free (21.49), 100 free (47.22), and the 200 free (1:46.28). He also swam the 50 breaststroke and recorded a time of 30.03 which was second best on the team. Nic competed in the 400 medley relay at the OAC Championships and took second with a time of 3:33.76. He also set a school record in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:26.48.

As a senior in 2011-12, Nic competed in his fourth season of swimming. He was named as the OAC Men's Swimmer of the Week for his efforts in a season-opening win against Wilmington College on Oct. 29, 2011. Nic swam career bests in the 50 free (21.30), 100 free (47.01), and the 100 breast (59.69). He swam a season best in the 200 free (1:54.32). Nic's 50 free time (21.30) at the OAC Championships was the third best time, giving him All-OAC honors, as well as B-W's second fastest time in school history. He was on the 200 free relay which recorded a school record of 1:26.48. Nic's time in the 100 freestyle at the 2012 OAC Championships was recorded as the fastest time in B-W's history.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT, ETC):  Nic was a four-time district qualifier in swimming. As both a junior in 2006-2007 and a senior in 2007-2008, Nic was his team's captain and selected Most Valuable Swimmer.
