BEREA, OHIO --  In just over two quarters of work, Baldwin Wallace University CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District 7 quarterback Ryan O'Rourke (Avon) completed 11-of-14 passes for 210 yards and four touchdowns and ran the ball five times for 41 yards and scored BW's first TD on an 8-yard run as the Yellow Jackets beat Marietta College, 66-14. For his efforts, O'Rourke is this week's Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player-of-the-Week. This is the third time in his career  (once each season) that he has earned the OAC honor.

O'Rourke had TD tosses of 30 and 23 yards to senior tight end Aaron Manders (Toledo/ Cardinal Stritch), 7 yards to junior wide receiver Mike McGervey (Canton/St. Thomas Aquinas) and 6 yards to freshman tight end Daryl Jones (Cleveland/Villa Angela - St. Joseph).

This season, O'Rourke has completed 94 of 166 passes for 1,395 yards and 17 touchdowns with seven interceptions for a QB efficency rating of 152.58. He also has run for 96 yards in 45 attempts with three touchdowns.  

For his career, O'Rourke has completed 373-of-651 passes for 58 percent for 5,031 yards and 47 touchdowns and he has rushed the ball 143 times for 165 yards and 7 more touchdowns.  His career totals include his freshman totals at NCAA Division II Slippery Rock (Pa.) University.

This week, the No. 15-ranked (American Football Coaches Association poll) Yellow Jackets, 7-1 overall and 6-1 in the OAC face their stiffest test of the season when they host No.1-ranked the University of Mount Union on the Tressel Field inside The George Finnie Stadium at 1:30 p.m. on Seniors' and Parents' Day.
