BEREA, OHIO — Baldwin Wallace University junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference flanker and NCAA Division III track All-American Josiah Holt (Elyria/Grafton Midview) is this week's OhioCollegeFootball.com Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Holt earned the honor for his performance in last Saturday's thrilling, come-from-behind, 32-28 Cuyahoga Gold Bowl Game victory against Ohio Athletic Conference and Cleveland cross-town rival John Carroll University in University Heights. Holt, who also was named as the OAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, is the second straight BW student-athlete to win an OCF award as last week's OCF Special Teams Player of the Week was junior cornerback and kick return specialist Kevin Johnson (Maple Heights/St. Ignatius).

Holt accounted for 327 all-purpose yards in the victory. He caught a game-high six passes for 173 yards, including the game-winning 84-yarder from senior quarterback Ryan O'Rourke (Avon) with 1:21 left in the game. With BW trailing, 14-10, Holt ran the kickoff back 50 yards, caught an 11-yard pass from O'Rourke and then ended the 3-play drive with a 31-yard TD catch from O'Rourke.

After two games, Holt tops BW In receiving with eight catches for 194 yards (24.2-yard average) with three TDs, has carried the ball seven ties for 41 yards and averages 28.2 yards on four kick returns. He has three kick return TDs in his first 22 career games. Last spring, Holt earned Div. III All-America status in track as a member of BW's 4 x 100-meter relay team.
