Scott Schroeder Garners OAC Golfer of the Week

BEREA  Baldwin Wallace University freshman Scott Schroeder (Aurora) is this week's Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week.

Schroeder carded a 74 and won medalist honors in a two-hole playoff in his first-ever collegiate tournament as the Yellow Jacket men's golf team finished second of nine teams at the annual John Carroll University Pat Flowers Invitational at the Shaker Heights Country Club yesterday (September 16).

Schroeder, junior teammate Adam Sanders (Fairview Park/ Fairview) and a John Carroll University player each carded rounds of 74.  Schroeder eliminated Sanders on the first playoff hole with a par and the Blue Streak player on the second hole with a birdie.

This Saturday and Sunday, September 21-22, Schroeder and the Yellow Jackets host the annual OAC Fall Invitational at the Columbia Hills Country Club in Columbia Station.  It is the second of four fall tournaments.
