BEREA, Ohio -- Baldwin Wallace University junior men's golfer Adam Sanders (Fairview Park/ Fairview) has been selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the second time in his career.

Sanders garners his second career OAC Men's Golfer of the Week honor when he fired a tournament-low and one-over-par 73 on the first day of the 2014 Ohio Athletic Conference Invitational hosted by Capital University at the Royal American Links in Galena, Ohio.  His score was three strokes better than his closest OAC competitor. Sanders fired a second round 78 today and also earned his second career medalist honor.

Sanders tops the Yellow Jackets (41-23 overall) this year in stroke average at 76.71 strokes in nine tournaments and 15.5 rounds of 18 holes.

The men's golf team is back in action on Friday and Saturday, April,18-19 when they travel to Wooster to compete in the at Nye Intercollegiate hosted by The College of Wooster at the Wooster Country Club.

The 2014 OAC Tournament is April 25-27 in West Lafayette, Ohio at the River Greens Golf Club and hosted by Muskingum University.
