Today's Contest: 
Today is Homecoming as the Baldwin Wallace football team hosts an Ohio Athletic Conference game against Wilmington College on Homecoming. Last week, BW defeated Marietta College by a final score of 52-24. Wilmington fell to John Carroll University by a final score of 72-14.

The Series: 
BW and Wilmington have met 18 times on the gridiron with BW holding an 15-3 series lead, including eight straight victories. During that span, The Yellow Jackets have outscored the Quakers, 349-96. The series began in 1922 with the Quakers defeating the Yellow Jackets, 16-7, in Berea. The last Wilmington win came in 2008 when it beat the Yellow Jackets, 27-21, in Wilmington.  

BW Head Coach Jim Hilvert: 
Hilvert is in his first season at BW. He is 69-21 in nine overall and is 0-0 against Wilmington. 

Wilmington Head Coach Bryan Moore: 
Moore is in his first season at Wilmington.  He is 2-2 in his career and 0-0 vs. Baldwin Wallace.

Last Meeting vs. WC -- October 8, 2016:
BW scored 28 points on 255 yards rushing and 131 yards passing for 386 yards of total offense. Wilmington scored 17 points on 190 yards passing and 157 yards rushing for 347 total yards.

Scouting the Yellow Jackets: 
In week four of the season, BW scored a season-high 52 points on 300 passing yards and 272 rushing yards for 572 yards of total offense. Marietta scored 24 points on 215 rushing yards and 196 passing yards for 411 yards of total offense.

BW Leaders: 
Offensively, junior quarterback Jake Hudson (East Lake, Fla.) has completed 43 of 89 passes for 629 yards with seven touchdowns and three interceptions. He also leads the ground attack with 199 yards on 47 carries with a long of 35 yards. Junior All-OAC running back Austin Smith (Broadview Heights/North Royalton) is second in rushing with 163 yards on 37 carries with two TDs.  Junior wide out Chad Steinwachs (Buffalo, N.Y./Willamsville North) tops the receiving with 12 grabs for 160 yards and five TDs.  Defensively, senior All-OAC linebacker Sam Groff (Waynesburg/Sandy Valley) tops the team with 27 tackles and one fumble recovery. Senior safety Trypp Washington (Eatonville, Fla./Orlando First Academy) is second with 23 stops but leads the squad with four pass breakups.

Scouting the Quakers:
In week four of the season, Wilmington scored 14 points on 146 passing yards and 111 rushing yards for 257 total yards of offense. John Carroll scored 72 points on 351 rushing yards and 275 passing yards for a 626 total yards of offense.

Wilmington Leaders: 
Offensively, senior quarterback Luke Creditt has completed 44 of 75 passes for 760 yards with nine touchdowns and four interceptions. Senior running back Eric Flynn, Jr. leads the ground game with 273 yards on 46 carries with four touchdowns.  Senior wide out PJ Meyer leads the receivers with 14 catches for 350 yards and five touchdowns.  Defensively,  senior linebacker C.J. Thompson tops the team with 29 tackles. Sophomore linebacker Bryan Gonzalez is second with 29 tackles, including 14 solos.
