BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University first-year Head Football Coach Jim Hilvert is proud to announce his inaugural schedule. 

Hilvert and the Yellow Jackets open the 2017 season on the road as they travel to Defiance for their lone non-conference game against Defiance College on Saturday, September 2 inside Justin F. Coressel Stadium at 1:30 p.m.

BW opens the home portion of its schedule on Saturday, September 16 when it hosts its Ohio Athletic Conference opener against cross-town rival John Carroll University on Community and Family Day as well as the 29th annual Cuyahoga Gold Bowl Trophy Game at 2 p.m. 

The Yellow Jackets return to the road for an OAC game against the University of Mount Union on September 23 before returning home for two straight OAC games against Marietta College on September 30 and against Wilmington College in the annual Homecoming game on October 7.

After a road game against Muskingum University on October 14, BW plays its lone night contest of the season when it travels to Westerville for an OAC game against Otterbein University on October 21 at 7 p.m.

The Yellow Jackets close out the home portion of their schedule with back-to-back home OAC games against Capital University on October 28 and Heidelberg University on November 4 in their Seniors' and Parents' Day game.

BW rounds out the regular season portion of the 2017 campaign when it travels to Ada on November 11 for an OAC clash against Ohio Northern University.
