Rynell Parnell Joins Baldwin Wallace Football Staff

BEREA, Ohio --  2015 Baldwin Wallace University graduate Rynell Parnell has joined Jim Hilvert's Yellow Jacket football staff and will be an Assistant Coach on the defensive line.

Parnell played two seasons of football at BW in 2010 and 2011, but an injury cut short his collegiate career. He continued to contribute to the Yellow Jacket program as a student assistant coach with the both the varsity and junior varsity defense for the next three seasons. 

In 2016-2017, Parnell was a graduate student in sports and recreation management and an intern on the football staff at NCAA Division I Kent State University. He worked primarily with the defensive line. He also earned his Master's degree in May.

Parnell is a native of Akron, Ohio and graduated from and was a member of the football program at Akron Archbishop Hoban High School.
