WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's volleyball team has been selected to finish seventh in the Ohio Athletic Conference Preseason Poll.

The Yellow Jackets, receiving 39 points in the OAC coaches' vote, sit at seventh after being tabbed fifth in the preseason polls last year. Defending conference champion Otterbein University was selected to finish first this year with a total of 78 points and six first-place votes. Marietta College was the second-place choice receiving 75 points and four first-place votes. University of Mount Union was predicted to finish third with 54 points followed by Ohio Northern University with 52 points and the 2022 OAC second-place finisher John Carroll University with 51 points.

Baldwin Wallace is led this season by second-year head coach Kristina Fultz. The squad returns fifteen letterwinners, two All-OAC players, and five Academic All-OAC selections from last season as the Yellow Jackets finished with a 13-11 record overall and a 4-5 record in the OAC.

BW's 2023 campaign begins September 1 at the Great Lakes Cross Over tournament in Sandusky where they take on Bethany (W. Va.) College in a non-conference matchup.
