Women's Track and Field Applauds Eight Senior Student-Athletes

BEREA, Ohio - As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect the nation and the world, the Baldwin Wallace University Athletic Department and women's track and field team want to take the time to recognize the hard work and dedication of its eight senior student-athletes.

Kelly Brennan, Brooke Buckhannon, Jordan Dascani, Katie Fowler, Breeanna Karam, Claire Makowski, Hannah Nagy, and Jillian Roberts saw their final outdoor season come to an abrupt end before it could even start when the Ohio Athletic Conference and NCAA canceled the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships on March 12. With the cancelation, these eight young women did not get a chance to get a Seniors' Day recognition or the chance to compete in the OAC Outdoor Championships.

While the NCAA has extended another year of eligibility, it is uncertain if each of these student-athletes will come back for another season or continue down their career path. So, the University administration, faculty and staff congratulates these eight young women on their outstanding athletic and academic careers as well as their leadership to the women's track and field program. The University would like to wish each of them all the best of luck in their future endeavors and hope that even after graduation that they come back and visit us often. They will always be a Yellow Jacket for Life (YJ4L).
