Fibbi Earns First Career OAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week Honor

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University sophomore freestyler Rachel Fibbi (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper Saint Clair) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week for the first time in her career.

Fibbi brings home her first accolade after winning the 500-yard and 1000-yard freestyle in times of 5:48.12 and 11:51.60 in BW's OAC and season-opening victory over Wilmington College last Saturday. 

For her career, Fibbi has a career-best time of 5:28.28 in the 500-yard freestyle and a career-best time of 11:27.61 in the 1000-yard freestyle.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday, October 20 when they host a non-conference dual meet against NCAA Division II Notre Dame College at 6 p.m.
