BEREA, Ohio – The defending Ohio Athletic Conference champion Baldwin Wallace University wrestling team, under the direction of seventh-year Head Coach Jaime Gibbs, will open up the 2017-18 season in grand fashion when the team hosts crosstown rival and fellow Ohio Athletic Conference foe John Carroll University on Friday, November 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Ursprung Gymnasium.

This year's schedule features four duals and five invitationals, which are highlighted by the 32nd John Summa Tournament on February 3. BW will also compete in the Trine (Ind.) Invitational on November 11, the New Standard Corp. Invitational hosted by York (Pa.) College on December 2, the Manchester (Ind.) University Invite on January 13 and the Pete Willson Invitational hosted by Wheaton (Ill.) College on January 26-27.

The four duals are headlined by the Gator "Boots" Duals in Nashville, Tennessee, on December 16, and the NWCA National Duals in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on January 5-6. The Yellow Jackets will also compete in the Mount Union Duals on November 18 and the Waynesburg Duals on December 9.

Two more conference duals will be hosted in the Ursprung Gymnasium when BW takes on Otterbein University on January 23 and the University of Mount Union on February 13.

The NCAA Division III Mideast Regionals will be contested on February 23-24 while Baldwin Wallace will host the NCAA Championships on March 9-10 at the Cleveland Public Auditorium.
