AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University Head Coach Jamie Gibbs and junior All-American 165-pounder Anthony Arroyo (Maumee) and have been named as the Ohio Athletic Conference OAC Coach of the Year and the Wrestler of the Year to lead an OAC-best seven Yellow Jackets on the All-OAC squad.
BW had three first-team selections in Arroyo, sophomore 133-pounder Dante Ginnetti (Poland/Seminary) and junior 184-pounder Zeckary Lehman (Akron/Revere). Four Yellow Jackets were tabbed to the second-team in freshman 149-pounder Stanley Bleich (North Ridgeville/Elyria Catholic), junior 174-pounder Justin Ransom (Madison), senior 197-pounder Tyler Maclellan (Medina/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) and senior 285-pounder Gabe Mahaney (Green).
Gibbs, who was the named the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Central Region Coach of the Year, earns his third straight OAC Coach of the Year honor. He led BW to its school-record third straight OAC title and a NCAA Division III Central Region Championships. Gibbs also mentored four Central Region Individual Champions and had a school-record nine wrestlers qualify to the national championships. In his seven season as the Yellow Jacket leader he has a record of 89-31.

Arroyo earns his first OAC Wrestler of the Year honor and garners his third straight first team accolade. He was the NCAA Division III Central Region Champion at 165 pounds and qualified for his second straight national tournament. This season, Arroyo has a record of 31-1 with nine pinfalls, seven technical falls and two major decisions. For his career, Arroyo is tied for 16th in school-history with 87 victories. He has tallied 42 pins with just 16 losses.
Ginnetti, who earns his first All-OAC honor, was an All-Central Region selection and qualified for his first national championship with a third-place finish. He leads the team with a career-high 18 pins and posted a record of 35-5 with four technical falls and five major decisions. In two seasons, Ginnetti has a record of 59-18 with 30 pins. Off the mat, he is a Dean's List student with a 3.979 grade point average in accounting.
Lehman, who garners his second straight All-OAC accolade, was named to the first-team after being tabbed as a second-team selection a year ago. He was the NCAA Division III Central Region Champion at 184 pounds and qualified for his first national tournament. This season, Lehman posted a record of 29-8 with a career-best 11 pins and five major decisions. For his career, Lehman has a mark of 59-17 with 20 pins.
Bleich, who earns his first All-OAC honor, was an All-Central Region selection and qualified for his first national championship with a third-place finish. This season, he has a record of 31-9 with five pins, one technical fall and three major decisions. Off the mat, he is a Dean's List student.
Ransom, who garners his first All-OAC accolade, was an All-Central Region selection and qualified for his first national tournament with a third-place finish. This season, he has a mark of 26-10 with four pins, one technical fall and nine major decisions. In two seasons with the Brown and Gold, Ransom has a record of 46-17 with nine pins.
Maclellan, who earns his fourth All-OAC honor, was named to the second-team for the second straight year after being tabbed to the first team as a freshman and sophomore. He was the NCAA Division III Central Region Champion at 197 pounds and qualified for his second national tournament. This season, Maclellan was the 197-pound champion at the Spartan Mat Classic. He posted a record of 29-10 with four pins, three major decisions and two technical falls. For his career, Maclellan is tied for eighth in school-history with 95 wins. He has recorded 17 career pins. Off the mat, Maclellan is a two-time Academic All-OAC selection, a Dean's List student, a Jacket Scholar and a member of Alpha Lambda and Chi Alpha Sigma honoraries.
Mahaney, who earns his first All-OAC accolade, was an All-Central Region selection and qualified for second consecutive national championship with a third-place finish. This season, he posted a record of 33-8 with a career-high 13 pins, three major decisions and one technical fall. For his career, Mahaney is 20th in school-history with 78 victories. He has recorded 24 career pins.
BW and its nine national qualifiers will be back in action on Friday and Saturday, March 9-10 when it serves as the host along with the Greater Cleveland Sports for the NCAA Division III National Championships at Cleveland's historic Public Auditorium.
