BEREA, OH- Fourth-year Head Coach Tom Heil has announced the 2018-2019 schedule for his Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team.
BW will open up the season on the road when the team travels to Alfred St. (N.Y.) College to take on the Pioneers on Nov. 10.
The Jackets will find themselves back in New York when they compete in the annual Chuck Ressler Invitational Tournament hosted by the University of Rochester. BW will take on Cabrini (Pa.) University on Nov. 16 and will play in either the consolation or championship game on Nov. 17.
Non-conference opponent Thomas More (Ky.) College will visit Berea in the Jackets' home opener on Nov. 20 slated for a 7 p.m. start. BW will host Westminster (Pa.) College in their final non-conference home contest on Thursday, Dec. 20.
Ohio Athletic Conference play opens up on Tuesday, Nov. 27, when the Jackets play against the University of Mount Union in Alliance. Conference play at home will begin with a visit by Capital University on Dec. 15 at 3 p.m.
The OAC tournament is slated to take place the week of Feb. 19 with the semifinals and championship being played Feb. 21 and Feb. 23 at the higher seed.
BW finished the 2017-2018 season with an 18-9 overall record and an 11-7 conference mark. BW defeated Mount Union in the OAC Tournament Quarterfinals 84-60 and fell to eventual OAC champs John Carroll University in the semifinals.
