Clark and Colombo Garner All-OAC Women’s Basketball Accolades

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University junior forward Sydney Clark (Parma/Lake Ridge Academy) and junior point guard Mackenzie Colombo (Strasburg) have been named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference women's basketball team.

Clark was named to the second-team for the second straight season after leading the team in scoring with career-high 10.1 points-per-game.  She also grabbed 106 rebounds, dished out a career-best 53 assists, had a career-high 35 steals and made 25 blocks.   Clark recorded her first career double-double against Otterbein on February 6 when she scored 10 points and grabbed a career-best 10 rebounds.   She tallied a career-high 22 points against Trine (Ind.) University on November 20.   Clark was selected to the Anderson (Ind.) University Tip-off All-Tournament Team 

For her career, Clark has appeared in 80 games with 54 starts.  She has scored 583 points, grabbed 272 rebounds, passed for 100 assists, has made 75 steals and made 59 blocks.  Clark had career-highs in rebounds with 134 and blocks with 28 during her sophomore campaign.

Colombo was a second-team selection for the first time in her career.  She had her best season as a collegian.   Colombo recorded career-bests in points (260), rebounds (72), assists (69) and blocks (5).  She also tallied a career-high tying 33 steals.  She scored a career-high 21 points in the OAC Tournament Championship game. 

In her career, Colombo has appeared in 85 of 86 games with 85 starts.   She has scored 549 points, dished out 188 assists, grabbed 174 rebounds, made 95 steals and recorded 11 blocks.

The Yellow Jackets, who advanced to their second straight OAC Tournament Championship game, ended the season with a record of 17-11 overall and fourth in the OAC with a mark of 11-7.
