BEREA, Ohio --  Baldwin Wallace University senior basketball standout Audrey Smolik (Strongsville) was named third-team 2014-2015 D3hoops.com Division III All-Great Lakes Region.

The Yellow Jackets are led by Smolik who who was the Most Valuable Player of the OAC Tournament and a first-team All-OAC choice. This winter, she led BW to a 22-7 record (77-33 during her four-year career), an OAC Tournament title and into the NCAA Division III National Tournament for the second straight year.  Smolik averaged a team-high 13.2 ppg. and was second with 6.6 rpg. She finished 10th all-time in school history with 1,090 points. In addition to being the OAC MVP, she was an all-tournament team pick at both the BW Invitational in November and at the OAC Tourney and was an OAC Player of the Week three times during her career. Smolik, who scored a career-high 26 points in an 85-64 win versus Heidelberg University in the first round of the OAC Tournament, also had 35 assists, 28 three-pointers, 17 steals and five blocked shots. She also had 470 career rebounds, 94 assists, 88 three-pointers and 57 steals. A stellar student in the classroom, Smolik also carries a 3.89 grade point average in middle childhood education.
