ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Pre-Physical Therapy

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Dominic Polifrone played his first season of men's tennis at Baldwin Wallace University. He earned his first varsity letter, received All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors and started at No.4 singles and No.4 doubles.

ALL-OAC HONORS:  As a freshman in 2015-2016, Dominic earned honorable mention All-OAC honors.

OAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS:  As a freshman in 2015-2016, Dominic was named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week on March 1, 2016.

GENERAL TENNIS INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2015-2016, Dominic played his first season of tennis and earned his first varsity letter. He started at No.4 singles and No.2 doubles. He was named as the OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week on March 1, 2016 for his 4-0 singles and 4-0 doubles efforts during the weeks of February 15-29, 2016. Dominic also earned honorable mention All-OAC accolades. He compiled a 24-3 mark at No.4 singles and had a 24-8 mark in doubles, including a 24-7 slate at No.2 with senior Kyle Patterson '16. Dominic helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 24-5 overall and 7-1 OAC regular season mark and place second at the 2016 OAC Tournament.

HOMETOWN AND HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Dominic grew up in Hudson, Ohio and graduated from Hudson High School.

Dominic played tennis for four years and earned four varsity letters. He also played one season of soccer. 

As a freshman, Dominic was named as the Rookie of the Year. As a senior in 2014, he was the Northeast Ohio Conference Player of the Year. He also received awards from Hudson H.S. for the "Silver Racquet" and "Gold Racquet"

Dominic also excelled in the classroom and was named as a Scholar-Athlete.
