ACADEMIC MAJOR: Marketing/ Film Studies
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Matt Harris played his first season of men's tennis at Baldwin Wallace University in 2016-2017. He earned his first varsity letter and started at third doubles.
GENERAL TENNIS INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2015-2016, Matt played in his first season of tennis and earned his first varsity letter. He alternated at sixth singles and started at third doubles. Matt compiled a 6-1 mark in singles, including a 1-0 slate in OAC matches. He combined with senior Kevin Fredrick '16 at No.3 doubles to compile a 17-8 record. Overall, he had a 19-9 doubles slate. Matt helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 24-5 overall and 7-1 OAC regular season mark and place second at the 2016 OAC Tournament.

HOMETOWN & HIGHSCHOOL INFORMATION: Matthew grew up in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Richfield Revere High School.
Matt played four years of tennis and earned four varsity letters. He twice earned All-Suburban League honors.
Matt also golfed for four years and earned four letters. He was a two-time OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) District qualifier.
FAMILY INFORMATION: Matt's older brother, Peter Harris '16, was one of the best to ever play tennis at BW and was the 2014-2015 OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Year.
