BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University sophomore two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference forward Danny Ruple (Berea/Berea-Midpark) has been named to the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) NCAA Division III All-Ohio Team for the second time in his career.

A third-team selection a year ago, Ruple was picked to the first team following a record-breaking 2017 season in which he led the Yellow Jackets and the conference in goals, points and shots. His 19 goals and 45 points broke two separate BW single-season records set by Carlin Vandendriessche in 2011. In addition to being named OAC Forward of the Year, he was also a first-team All-OAC selection and earned a spot on the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-Great Lakes Region first team.

For his career, Ruple has appeared in 38 games and tallied 27 goals and 13 assists for 67 points on 132 shots.

BW finished the year with an overall record of 5-12-2 and a 1-7-1 mark in the OAC.
