BEREA, Ohio - Get to know sophomore midfielder Rafael Davalos (Kettering/Alter). This season, Davalos appeared in 18 games, making 13 starts, and recorded career highs of two goals and two assists for six points. He also earned Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors. 

If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I would go to Cuba because it's where my mom is from and I'd really like to visit the homeland. 

If you could pick one super power, what would it be and why?

I'd probably pick flying so I could go anywhere without having to pay for a plane ticket. 

If you played another sport, what would it be and why?

I would probably play handball; I think it looks really interesting.  

What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?

The best piece of advice I've ever received is, "Treat a man as he is and he'll remain as he is. Treat him as he could be and he'll become what he should be."

Why did you choose your major?

I've always enjoyed working out and I've always thought the way the body works is interesting so exercise science seemed like a good match.
