BEREA, Ohio - Get to know junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference midfielder Jeremy Foust (Strongsville). This season, Foust appeared in and started all 19 games while also earned Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association Academic All-Ohio honors.
If you could pick one super power, what would it be and why?
Telekinesis for two reasons. First, it would allow me to be really lazy in that I wouldn't have to get up to get the TV remote or physically tie my shoes. Second, being able to move things with my mind just sounds like it would be a lot of fun.
How did you get started in your soccer career?
My friend was on our travel soccer team when we were 10 years old and he said that I should try out for the team. So I listened to him and made the team and that kick started my career (pun intended).
What is your favorite food?
Stuffed Cabbage. My grandparents always make it for me for my birthday and it is the BEST!
What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?
My 5th grade teacher had a poster on her door which said "Character is what you do when no one is watching" which is something that my parents have both said before and something that I try to think of when I see something as too difficult or just don't want to do it.
What is your favorite holiday?
Thanksgiving because I get to see some of my extended family that I don't see during the rest of the year, but also because I like to eat.
