BEREA, Ohio - Get to know sophomore forward Cannon Dees (Berea/Berea-Midpark). This season, Dees appeared in 16 games, making three starts, and recorded two assists for two points. He also earned Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors. 

Why did you pick your major?

I am a sport management major because I love the atmosphere sport brings. Any sport event I've been to has been filled with excitement, even if one team has to lose. I also want to help influence lives, and I feel that sport is an excellent way to be able to connect with people and the community in a way I'm interested in. 

If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I would go to Europe and take a tour of different countries. I would want to immerse myself in the sport culture, hike through mountains, attend music festivals and just explore. 

What are some of your hobbies?

My hobbies include videogames, being outside, playing other sports, playing board and card games and hanging out with friends. 

What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?

The best piece of advice I've ever received, and it may sound redundant, was to always try and utilize other people's advice. 

How did you get started in your soccer career?

When I was about 8, I just decided that I wanted to play soccer so my dad started a travel team and then I just kept with it after that.
