Watts and Eeg Named Academic All-OAC in Women’s Tennis

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University junior women's tennis player Claire Watts (Medina/Highland) and sophomore Kayla Eeg (Waterford, Pa./General McLane) have been named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

Watts and Eeg are two of the of the 34 BW spring sports student-athletes named as Academic All-OAC. 

In order to be selected as Academic All-OAC, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, be in residence at the school for at least a year and maintain varsity status.

Watts, a three-year letterwinner, earns her second career Academic All-OAC accolade.  She is biology major that carries a 3.69 grade point average.  Watts is a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar.  She was selected as the OAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week on March 30, 2015

Eeg, a two-year letterwinner, garners her first career Academic All-OAC honor.  She is a pre-physical therapy major that carries a 3.91 grade point average.   Eeg is a Dean's List student and and a member of the Alpha Lambda Honor Society.
