Men’s Wrestling Rolls Out 2023-24 Schedule

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University men's wrestling under the direction of head coach Jamie Gibbs has rolled out its 2023-24.

BW, who has won the last three consecutive Ohio Athletic Conference titles, opens the campaign on November 3 and 4 when it travels to Ithaca, New York to compete in the annual Ithaca University Invitational.  The Yellow Jackets remain on the road a week later when they travel to Angola, Indiana to compete in the Trine University Invitational.

BW begins OAC action on November 14 when it travels to Tiffin to face Heidelberg University. The Yellow Jackets will host the annual BW Invitational on November 18 before hosting an OAC dual against Ohio Northern University on November 28.

BW starts the second month of the season when it travels to Naperville, Illinois to compete in the 59 North Central College Invitational on December 9. The Yellow Jackets close out the 2023 portion of the schedule when it travels to Nashville, Tennessee to compete in the Gator Boot Duals hosted by Luther (Iowa) College on December 16. 

BW rolls into 2024 when it travels to Cedar Falls, Iowa to compete in the National Wrestling Coaches Association National Duals on January 5 and 6.   The Yellow Jackets remain on the road when they travel to North Manchester, Indiana to compete in the Manchester University Spartan Mat Duals on January 13.

BW returns to OAC action with four straight duals.  The Yellow Jackets first travel to Westerville to take on Otterbein University on January 16.  BW then hosts John Carroll University, the University of Mount Union, and Muskingum University in the OAC Duals on January 20. 

The Yellow Jackets host the 37th John Summa Invitational on February 3 and then close out the OAC regular season by hosting a dual against Wilmington College on February 6. 

BW ends the regular season with trips to South Euclid for a non-conference dual against NCAA Division II Notre Dame College, University Heights for the John Carroll Open on February 11, to Angola, Indiana to compete in the Mid-States Invitational hosted by Trine University on February 17 and to Cincinnati for a non-conference dual against Mount St. Joseph University on February 18.

The NCAA Division III Central Regional Championships hosted by Ohio Northern University will be held on March 1 and 2.

The  NCAA Division III National Championships will be contested on March 15 and 16 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
