No. 5 Men’s Wrestling Places Second Spartan Mat Classic

NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The No. 5 Baldwin Wallace University men's wrestling team finished in second place at the Spartan Mat Classic hosted by Manchester University inside the Stauffer-Wolfe Arena.

BW had 10 top eight finishers, including two champions took second with 118.5 points.   Wabash (Ind.) College was the champion with 192.5 points.

Senior All-American and No. 4 nationally ranked 125-pounder Jacob Decatur (Akron/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) - Champion

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Tuesday, January 16 when they travel to Westerville for an OAC dual match against Otterbein University in the Rike Center at 7 p.m.

BW hosts the OAC Duals on Saturday, January 20 against crosstown rival John Carroll University, the University of Mount Union and Muskingum University in the Lou Higgins Center Fieldhouse starting at 10 a.m.
