TIFFIN, Ohio – The No. 3 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University men's wrestling team opened the Ohio Athletic Conference season as it shutout Heidelberg University by a final score of 50-0 in Seiberling Gymnasium.

BW (1-0, 1-0 OAC) has now won 26 straight OAC matches, including winning nine straight against Heidelberg (0-1, 0-0 OAC).

• 125 pounds:    Senior Johnny Novak (Cleveland/St. Ignatius) won a 15-0 technical fall over Brenden Yob
• 133 pounds:    Senior All-American and No. 2 nationally ranked Jaden Hinton (Glassboro, N.J.) won a 16-1 technical fall over David Gelman
• 141 pounds:    Senior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC Robby Palmieri (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine Richland) won an 18-14 decision over Josh Gibson
• 149 pounds:    Senior David Panda (Columbia, Md./Atholton) won a 14-4 major decision over Claude Buckmaster
• 157 pounds:    Senior All-American Michael Petrella (Reynoldsburg/Bishop Hartley), who is ranked No. 1 nationally at 149 pounds, won an 18-4 technical fall over Travis Richardson
• 165 pounds:    Senior Academic All-OAC Hunter Kupniewski (North Royalton) won a 19-3 technical fall over Carter Mock
• 174 pounds:    Sophomore Remington Bauer (Norwalk/Edison) won by forfeit
• 184 pounds:    Senior Joey Petrella (Reynoldsburg/Bishop Hartley) won a 23-8 technical fall over Adam Medeiros
• 197 pounds:    Junior Carter Lloyd (Brecksville/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) won by pinfall in 1:50 over Khelei Tillman
• 285-pounds:    Senior All-American Doug Byrne (Wickliffe), who is No. 4 nationally ranked at 197 pounds, won by pinfall in 4:40 over Demitrius Hernandez
