BEREA, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University wrestling team defeated Ohio Athletic Conference rival Muskingum University, 48-6, in dual match competition in the Rudolph Ursprung Gymnasium in the Lou Higgins Center.

With its win, the Yellow Jackets improve to 6-2 overall and 1-1 in the OAC.  Muskingum is 0-7 overall and 0-2 in the OAC. The match was moved to tonight due to its postponement on Tuesday, Feb. 4 due to inclement weather.

Leading the way was sophomore 285-pounder Joe Belford (Berea/St. Edwards) who pinned Muskingum's James Keys in 1:27. Muskingum had just three wrestlers, so it forfeited seven weight classes. The Fighting Muskies won the 141 and 197-pound matches for their six points.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Tuesday, February 11 when they host OAC-rival Ohio Northern University on Seniors' Night in the Ursprung Gym at 7:30 p.m.
