Schatschneider Earns First OAC Women’s Golfer of the Week Honor

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University junior Anna Schatschneider (Avon) has been selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference Co-Women's Golfer of the Week for the first time in her career. 

Just like in her BW debut, Schatschneider shares the OAC weekly honor with Sara Beckwith of John Carroll University after the duo were named co-medalists at the John Carroll Fall Invitational this past weekend.

Schatschneider, who transferred this year from NCAA Division II Ashland, claimed her first weekly honor after she fired two identical rounds of 82 for a total of 164. 

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Sunday and Monday, September 23-24 when it travels to Meadville, Pennsylvania to compete in the Allegheny (Pa.) College Invitational at the Country Club of Meadville.
