Schatschneider Earns All-OAC Honors, Women’s Golf Takes Seventh at OAC Championships

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University junior women's golfer Anna Schatschneider (Avon) earned her first All-Ohio Athletic Conference honor with a sixth place finish as the Yellow Jackets closed out the 2018-19 season as it finished seventh at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by the University of Mount Union at the River Greens Golf Course.

BW was seventh of nine teams with a 54-hole total of 1,072 on the par-73 and 5,811-yard River Greens layout.  Mount Union was the champion with 993 strokes.

The Yellow Jackets were led by Schatschneider as she fired a career-low round of 80 followed by rounds of 85 and 86 for a total of 251 to place sixth.

In addition, freshman Kelly Linnabary (Westerville/Central) carded rounds of 87, 93 and 89 for a total of 269.  Senior Grace Magee (Skaneateles, N.Y.) posted rounds of 90, 95 and 89 for a total of 274. Junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference player Emily Hunt (Marysville) tallied rounds of 92, 93 and 95 for a total of 280.  Rounding out the top five was Rachael Sladky (North Olmsted) as she had rounds of 102, 97 and 93 for a total of 292.
