SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's volleyball team was defeated by Wittenberg University by a score of 3-1 in a Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League match in Pam Evans Smith Arena.
BW Leaders (9-12, 3-1 MCVL)
- Freshman outside hitter Owen Huynh (Loveland) tallied 12 kills with a .391 hitting percentage and also tied a team-high eight digs
- Senior All-MCVL setter Brandon Long (Hinckley/Metea Valley [Ill.]) led the Yellow Jackets with 38 assists and also had eight digs
- Senior All-MCVL outside hitter Michael Beard (Hilliard/Darby) was the kills leader with 13 and added seven digs and three aces
- Junior All-MCVL right-side hitter Michael Devlin (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley) contributed seven kills and four digs
Wittenberg Leaders (12-8, 4-0 MCVL)
- Sophomore outside hitter Michael Yurk tallied a game-high 16 kills
- Senior outside hitter Tom Supan had 10 digs
- Sophomore setter Sam Richardson led the Tigers with 27 assists
