Men's Volleyball Earns Five-Set Victory Over Mount St. Joseph

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's volleyball team defeated Mount St. Joseph University by a score of 3-2 in a Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League match in the Harrington Center to improve to 3-0 in conference play. 

BW Leaders (9-11, 3-0 MCVL)

  • Sophomore libero Aiden Kim (Bothell, Wash./North Creek) recorded a career-high 25 digs and added one assist. 
  • Senior All-MCVL setter Brandon Long (Hinckley/Metea Valley [Ill.]) tallied 51 assists for his second straight 50+ assist game and the third this season
  • Senior All-MCVL outside hitter Michael Beard (Hilliard/Darby) led the BW offense with 18 kills and also contributed four assists and 12 digs 
  • Freshman outside hitter Owen Huynh (Loveland) finished with 14 kills and 10 digs
  • Junior All-MCVL right-side hitter Michael Devlin (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley) hit .400 on 20 attempts with 11 kills and seven digs

Mount St. Joseph Leaders (4-11, 0-3 MCVL)

  • Junior middle hitter Ryan Bollhouser had four total blocks including three block solos
  • Sophomore outside hitter Jude Lewis led the Lions with 13 kills
  • Junior setter Ben Carmosino assisted 36 times

  • BW led in kills 14-12

  • BW led in kills 16-15
