ACADEMIC MAJOR: Exercise Science
BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Andy played his third season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. The second-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection started at defensive end and earned his second varsity letter.
ATHLETICS HONORS: As a junior in 2015-2016, Andy earned second-team All-OAC honors. He was named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week on November 2, 2015 for his efforts versus Capital University on October 31, 2015.
GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-14, Andy played in his first season of football and saw playing time at the defensive end position for the junior varsity team and also appeared in four varsity games on special teams. Andy had two tackles and helped BW finish 6-4 overall.
As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Andy saw substantial playing time at defensive end for the varsity team. He recorded 30 tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble. BW finished 5-5 overall.
As a junior in 2015-2016, Andy played his third season at BW and earnedn his second varsity letter. He is started at defensive end and received second-team All-OAC honors. Andy earned the OAC Defensive Player of the Week award when had a career-high 11 tackles in a 56-20 win versus Capital University on Oct. 31, 2015. It included two tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Andy was credited with making 47 total tackles, including a team-leading 9.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 QB sacks. He also forced two fumbles, recovered another fumble and deflected two passes. BW finished 7-3 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Andy Schultz grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio and graduated from North Royalton High School.
Andy played football for four years, wrestling for one year and baseball for two years. He earned two varsity letters in football and one varsity letter in wrestling.
Andy earned first-team All-Northeast Ohio Conference and third-team All-District honors. He also was the North Royalton H.S. Defensive Lineman of the Year.
