ACADEMIC MAJOR: Business Finance

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Ian Harmon iplayed four seasons of football at Baldwin Wallace University and earned one varsity letter. The defensive tackle had an outstanding senior season in 2015-2016.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION:   Ian played four years of football and earned four varsity letters. He played on the junior varsity/ freshman team his first season, split time between the varsity and JV teams as a sophomore and was a member of the varsity defensive line as a junior and senior. He started at defensive tackle as a senior.  Ian helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 25-15 four-year record with a .625 winning percentage.

Individually, Ian played in 15 career games and was credited with making 49 career tackles, including  12 solo tackles, three tackles for loss with one quarterback sack and recovered one fumble. He will be remembered for his dedication and relentless commitment toward excellence. Ian got the most out of his ability.

As a freshman in 2012-2013, Ian played his first season of football and received a certificate of participation. He saw playing time at defensive line on the junior varsity team. BW finished 7-3 overall.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Ian played his second season of football and received his second certificate of participation. He split time between the varsity and junior varsity teams but saw all of his action on the JV squad at DT. BW finished 6-4 overall.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Ian played his third season of football and received his third certificate of participation. He saw action in five varsity games as a backup DT and made five tackles. BW finished 5-5 overall.

As a senior in 2015-2016, Ian iplayed his fourth season of football and earned his first varsity letter. He played and started all 10 games at DT. Ian made a career-high 44 tackles, including 11 solo stops, three tackles for loss with a quarterback sack and recovered a fumble. BW finished 7-3 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Ian Harmon grew up in Granville, Ohio and graduated from Granville High School.

Ian played four years of football and earned three varsity letters. He also played four years of lacrosse and lettered three times.

In football as a senior, Ian was selected as a first-team All-Mid-State League (Ohio Division), second-team All-District and as a Newark Advocate All-Star. He also was the Granville H.S. Lineman of the Year and its Ironman Award winner.

Academically, Ian was a Merit Roll student all four years.
