ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Chemistry/ Mathematics

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Bryon Cook iplayed his third season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. He earned his second varsity letter and was one of the tean's top receivers.

ACADEMIC SUCCESS:  Bryon carries a 3.043 grade point average.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-14, Bryon played his first season of football and earned a certificate of participation. He split time between the varsity and junior varsity levels. Bryon saw playing time at the cornerback position and on special teams. He appeared in six varsity games and had nine total tackles. BW finished 6-4 overall.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Bryon played his second season of football and earned his first varsity letter. He played in the secondary and on special teams. Bryon played in all 10 games, made 15 total tackles, including one for loss. BW finished 5-5 overall.

As a junior in 2015-2016, Bryon played his third season of football and earned his second letter. He moved from the defensive secondary to wide receiver and had a solid season despite missing several games due to an injury. In seven games, Bryon caught a team-leading 27 passes for 400 yards (14.8-yard average per catch) with a team-leading five touchdowns. He helped BW average 31.5 points and 420.6 yards of total offense per game. BW finished 7-3 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Bryon Cook grew up in Tallmadge, Ohio and attended Tallmadge High School.

Bryon played football, basketball and baseball and ran track. He earned four letters in track, three in basketball, two in football and one in baseball. He was the Tallmadge H.S. Steve Mazzafferro Award recipient for good character.

In football, Bryon was a second-team All-Suburban League and honorable mention All-Distict selection.

In basketball, Bryon was an honorable mention All-District pick and the Tallmadge H.S. Most Valuable Defensive Player.

In track, Bryon was a second-team All-SL player.

Academically, Bryon was an Honor Roll student who was an OHSAA Scholar-Athlete in 2009 and 2012.
