ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Pre-Physical Therapy

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Tyrone Brininger played his third season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. He earned his first varsity letter.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE:  Tyrone carries a 3.477 grade point average.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Tyrone played his first season of football and earned a certificate of participation. He saw playing time at either safety or cornerback on the junior varsity team. BW finished 6-4 overall.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Tyrone played his second season of football and received his second certificate of participation. He split time between the varsity and junior varsity teams as a safety. On the varsity level, Tyrone played in three games and had two tackles. BW finished 5-5 overall.

As a junior in 2015-2016, Tyrone played his third season of football and earned his first varsity letter. He saw action in seven varsity games at cornerback, "nickel" back and on special teams. Tyrone had 12 total tackles, including seven solo stops. BW finished 7-3 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Tyrone Brininger grew up in Geneva, Ohio and graduated from Geneva High School.

Tyrone played four years of football and earned three varsity letters. He also wrestled for four years and lettered four times.

In football as a senior in 2012-2013, Tyrone was named first-team All-Premier Athletic Conference, first-team All-Ashtabula County and second-team All-District.

In wrestling, Tyrone was first-team All-County, second-team All-PAC and was a District qualifier.
