Today's Game --  The Baldwin Wallace University Yellow Jacket football team returns to the road for its four away game of the season as it travels to Westerville for an Ohio Athletic Conference clash with Otterbein University.

Series Notes --  BW and Otterbein have met 

46 times on the gridiron with Baldwin-Wallace holding a 35-10-1 series lead, but Otterbein has won the last three meetings, including a 20-9 triumph a year ago in Berea. The series began in 1925 with the Yellow Jackets defeating the Cardinals, 7-0, in Berea.  The last BW win came in 2011 when it beat the Cardinals, 27-21, in Westerville.

Last Meeting -- The last time BW and Otterbein met on October 24, 2014, the Cardinals defeated the Yellow Jackets by a final score of 20-9.   Otterbein outgained BW in total yards by a margin of 334-294.  The Yellow Jackets held an 124-91 advantage on the ground but the Cardinals won the aerial attack by a count of 243-170.

Scouting The Yellow Jackets
In week six of the season, BW scored 21 points on 262 passing yards, 238 rushing yards and 500 total yards. Wilmington scored 14 points on 199 passing yards, 62 rushing yards and 261 total yards. 

Yellow Jacket Statistical Leaders

Offensively, BW senior quarterback Tyler Moeglin (Canton /St. Thomas Aquinas) has completed 93 of 141 passes for 1,051 yards with seven TD's and two interceptions. He also leads the team with 513 rushing yards on 105 attempts with a team-leading eight TD's.  Senior running back Issac Reed III (Lehigh Acres, Fla./ Lehigh) is second in rushing with 305 yards on 61 attempts with two TD's. Sophomore  running back Austin Smith (Broadview Heights/North Royalton), who is also the punter, third with 235 yards on 57 attempts with three TD's. Junior wide receiver Bryon Cook (Tallmadge) tops the receiving corps with 24 receptions for 314 yards and five TD's.  Junior wide out Tyler Wolf (Fremont/ Ross) is second with 15 grabs for 231 yards

Defensively, sophomore linebacker Sam Groff (Waynesburg/Sandy Valley) leads the team in tackles with 50.  Junior defensive back Brock Hull (Youngstown/Boardman) and senior defensive linemen Jake Mauer (Brunswick) are tied for second with 38 stops.  Sophomore linebacker Sean Nischwitz (Clinton/Green) is fourth with 37 tackles.   Junior defensive end Andy Schultz (North Royalton) leads the team with four and a half sacks.

Scouting the Cardinals
In week six of the season, Otterbein scored 28 points on 205 yards passing, 63 rushing yards and 268 total yards. Muskingum University scored 21 points on 123 yards passing, 207 rushing yards and 330 total yards.

Cardinal Statistical Leaders
Offensivley, senior quarterback Kevan Green has completed 107 of 168 passes for 1,253 yards with 12 TD's and six interceptions. He also has rushed for 127 yards on 43 attempts with a TD. Senior running back John Pyles leads the rushing attack with 371 yards on 61 attempts with two TD's.  Sophomore wide out  Julian Lowe tops the receiving corps with 48 grabs for 616 yards and 11 TD's.

Defensively, senior linebacker Drew Ervin tops the team with 76 total tackles and two interceptions.  Senior defensive back Jordan Bonifas and junior linebacker Nick Toledo are tied for second with 47 stops.
