BEREA, Ohio – Seven student-athletes from the 2015 Baldwin Wallace University football team were named to the 2015 All-Ohio Athletic Conference team by the OAC football coaches. The Yellow Jackets had their 47th winning season (plus two .500 seasons) in the last 51 years with a 7-3 overall record and tied for second place in the OAC Standings with a 7-2 mark.

Named to the first-team was were senior quarterback Tyler Moeglin (Canton/St. Thomas Aquinas). Selected to the second-team were senior offensive center Anthony Lautanen (Mentor), senior offensive guard Nolan Brandt (Olmsted Falls), junior defensive end Andy Schultz (North Royalton) and junior safety Brock Hull (Boardman).  The honorable mention picks were senior running back Issac Reed III (Lehigh Acres, Fla./Lehigh) and senior defensive tackle Lawrence Wolfe (Creston/ Norwayne).

Moeglin ran, passed and caught the football and accounted for 4,955 total yards and 46 total touchdowns during his career. Although technically a QB, he was elected by the OAC Coaches as an offensive back.  This season, Moeglin completed 137 of 195 passes for a career-high 1,573 yards with 11 TD's and just two interceptions. He ended his career with a streak of 114 straight passes without an interception. He also ran for a team-high 739 yards and 11 TD's and caught two passes for 46 yards. For his career, Moeglin completed 273 of 439 passes for 3,240 yards and 25 TD's with eight interceptions, ran the ball 286 times for 1,344 yards and 20 TD's, and caught 10 passes for 171 yards and a score.

Lautanen and Brandt were part of a Yellow Jacket offensive line that helped BW average 31.5 points and 420.6 yards of total offense per game. Lautanen was a starter for three seasons and a four-year varsity contributor.  Brandt spent three years in the varsity line rotation and started this season. During their careers, BW averaged nearly 30 points and 380 yards of total offense over 40 games and produced a four-year mark of 25-15. 

Schultz and Hull were key members of a defense that helped BW win seven of its last eight games. Schultz started at end and was credited with 47 total tackles, including team-leading totals of 9.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 quarterback sacks. He also forced two fumbles, recovered another and deflected two passes. Hull started at safety and recorded 58 tackles, including 2.5 for loss and one sacks, and he led the team with three interceptions.

Reed III had an outstanding four-year career. He ran for 2,173 career yards in 378 attempts with 18 touchdowns, caught 22 passes for 141 yards and a TD and returned 10 kickoffs for 24.4-yard average.  This season, Reed III ran for 589 yards in 95 attempts with nine TD's and caught four passes.

Wolfe was a three-year varsity contributor and starter who also is a three-time Academic All-OAC selection. He had 86 career tackles, including 13 tackles for loss and five sacks.He also forced two fumbles and recovered another. This season, Wolfe had 30 tackles, including three for loss and one sack.
