Today's Game --  The Baldwin Wallace University Yellow Jacket football team travels to New Conford for its second Ohio Athletic Conference road game as it takes on Muskingum University in McConagha Stadium.

Series Notes --  This is the 59th all-time meeting in football between BW and Muskingum. BW leads the all-time series, 43-13-2, including nine straight victories and a 35-7 win in Berea last season.  During its current nine-game winning streak, BW has outscored Muskingum, 272-104. The last Muskie win came in 2005 by a 16-10 count in New Concord. The series began in 1917 when the Fighting Muskes defeated the Yellow Jackets, 25-7. In BW's last game in New Concord, it beat Muskingum, 13-6 in overtime in 2012.

Last Meeting -- The last time BW and Muskingum met on October 4, 2014, the Yellow Jackets defeated the Fighting Muskies by a final score of 35-7 on Homecoming for BW.   The Yellow Jackets outgained Muskingum 314-177 in total yards, including holding a 161-21 advantage through the air.

In week three of the season, BW scored 14 points on 76 passing yards, 200 rushing yards, and 276 total yards. John Carroll scored 17 points on 143 passing yards, 161 rushing yards, and 304 total yards. 

Yellow Jacket Statistical Leaders

Offensively, BW senior quarterback Tyler Moeglin (Canton /St. Thomas Aquinas) has completed 39 of 65 passes for 398 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He tops the team in rushing with 326 yards on 62 attempts with a team-high five TD's.  Sophomore  running back Austin Smith (Broadview Heights/North Royalton) is second in rushing with 110 yards on 28 attempts with three TD's. Junior wide receiver Tyler Wolf (Fremont/ Ross) tops the receiving corps with nine receptions for 157 yards.

Defensively, sophomore linebacker Sam Groff (Waynesburg/Sandy Valley) leads the team in tackles with 25.  Senior defensive linemen Jake Mauer (Brunswick) is second with 24 tackles. Junior defensive back Brock Hull (Youngstown/Boardman) and sophomore strong safety Theodore Washington (Orlando, Fla. /First Academy) are tied for third with 20 stops.   Junior defensive end Andy Schultz (North Royalton) leads the team with three sacks

Scouting the Fihgting Muskies
In week three of the season, Muskingum scored 31 points on 160 yards passing, 242 rushing yards and 402 total yards. Capital University scored 34 points on 27 yards passing, 414 rushing yards and 441 total yards.

Fighting Muskies Statistical Leaders
Offensivley, senior quarterback Cody Williams has completed 24 of 49 passes for 323 yards with one TD and three interceptions. He also is the leading rusher with 140 yards on 27 attempts with a TD. Junior running back Melvin Smith is second in rushing with 135 yards on 29 attempts with three TD's. Sophomore wide out Damon Jones tops the receiving corps with seven catches for 144 yards 

Defensively, senior linebacker Zach Barry tops the squad in tackles with 37, quarteback sacks with 1.5 and one fumble recovery.  Junior linebacker Chaney Fulton is second with 32 stops while sophomore linebacker Mick Fishel is third with 19 tackles.
