Women’s Tennis Honors Senior Becca Liebler

Women’s Tennis Honors Senior Becca Liebler

BEREA, Ohio -- As the COVID 19 pandemic continues to affect the nation and the world, the Baldwin Wallace University Athletic Department and women's tennis team want to take the time to recognize the hard work and dedication of its senior student-athlete.

Becca Liebler saw her final season come to an abrupt end when the Ohio Athletic Conference and NCAA canceled the remainder of the spring season on March 13.  With the cancelation, Liebler did not get a chance for her Seniors' Day recognition or the chance to play in the OAC Championships.

While the NCAA has extended another year of eligibility, it is uncertain if Liebler will come back for another season or continue down her career path.  So, the University administration, faculty and staff congratulates Liebler on her outstanding athletic and academic careers as well as her leadership to the women's tennis program. The University would like to wish Liebler the best of luck in her future endeavors and hope that even after graduation that she comes back and visit us often. You will always be a Yellow Jacket for Life (YJ4L).

Liebler is a business administration, industrial and amp and organizational psychology triple major from Medina, Ohio and a graduate of Medina High School. An Academic All-OAC selection, she had her best season as a Yellow Jacket during the 2017-18 campaign. That year, Liebler went 11-8 in singles action and 12-12 in doubles while earning her first varsity letter. For her career, Liebler is 24-23 in singles action and 21-32 in doubles play. She is a Dean's List Student, Jacket Scholar, a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta and Chi Alpha Sigma honoraries. Liebler is the daughter of John and Debbie Liebler.
