Women's Tennis Falls in Home Opener

BEREA, Ohio – In its home opener, the Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team fell to NCAA Division ll opponent, Notre Dame College by a final score of 7-2, on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts.

After an hour rain delay, BW (1-1) was able to secure the No. 3 doubles by a score of 8-3, behind the freshman duo of Kailin Breedlove (Parma) and Kamryn DiRocco (Copley). 

Under the lights, freshman Gina Upholzer (Strongsville) sealed the No. 6 singles match by consecutive, 6-0 scores. 

The Yellow Jackets will be back in action on Thursday September 19 and Friday September 20, for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Region Championships, hosted by Kalamazoo (Mich.) College.
